Nowhere Like Home
Nowhere Like Home is a photo series exploring the intimacy of ordinary places.
It ran as a monthly series from september 2014 to February 2016, and ended with an exhibition in the Kvit Gallery in Copenhagen, where all the photos were printed as post cards for the audience to write on and send. The remaining post cards are still for sale here — give me your address and I'll
send it by mail.

Storhaug, Stavanger
Storhaug is where I grew up. It is the most densely populated part of Stavanger, which in turn is the most densely populated city in Norway. A lot of the old wooden houses here was built by the families working in the fishing industry in the beginning of the 20th century. Now the fishing industry has been surpassed by the oil industry, making Stavanger the oil capital of Norway.
